Our Client’s Problem

Last year John and Val's house was so warm they were unable to get it to cool down with manual fans. The bedroom was unbearable and sleepless nights became an everyday occurance. Val knew she needed to change things before this summer but was apprehensive about dust and general tidiness. After receiving various quotes, all too expensive they came to us for a competitive price after a recommendation.

What We Did

Following a free site survey at the client's rural Hertfordshire property, Essex Cooling Ltd assessed the layout of the principal bedroom suite and recommended a Panasonic wall mounted split system that would provide both cooling and heating throughout the year. Careful consideration was given to the positioning of both the indoor and outdoor units to ensure maximum performance, low noise levels, and a discreet appearance that complemented the property. The Installation Before installation commenced, our engineers carried out a full risk assessment and ensured all work complied with current UK health and safety regulations. The refrigeration pipework and electrical connections were installed by qualified engineers, with particular care taken to protect the client's home and minimise disruption during the works. As F Gas certified engineers, we followed all Refcom and F Gas regulations throughout the installation process. This included pressure testing the system, carrying out a deep vacuum to remove any moisture and contaminants from the pipework, and completing thorough leak testing before commissioning the unit. Once installed, the Panasonic system was fully tested to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Val and John were both happy with our work and the finished result and are now enjoying a comfortable temperature in their principal bedroom suite throughout the year, with quiet, reliable cooling during the summer months and efficient heating when required. Last summer we hired Essex Cooling to supply and install 2 air sourced heat pumps to provide a/c and heating for our kitchen and main bedroom. We were completely satisfied with the job they did, and decided to ask them back to install an air sourced heat pump for our living room. As previously, they did a great job.
