Our Client’s Problem
Our client had invested in a beautiful garden office to create a qiet and productive workspace away from the mail house. Whilst the space looked fantastic, it became clear that comfort throughout the year was a major issue. During the winter months the office became exceptionally cold, making it difficult to work for long periods of time. Also this relyed heavily upon electric plug in heaters. These heaters are both inefficient and expensive to run, they took a long time to heat the room, and only provided temporary heat rather than a long time solution. This summer the opposite is going to happen, often garden rooms are so hot they become almost impossible to work in. Sun heats the rooms very quickly and open windows and doors offer very little relief.
What We Did
As the client was on a reasonably tight budget we suggested using the Midea range. Made in China, these units have proved their success in the Air-con world as budget friendly and reliable. They also offer some really sleek and contemporary indoor units in different colours and styles. To ensure even temperature throughout the workspace, we installed two Midea wall-mounted air conditioning units. This setup allows the the client to benefit from rapid heating in the winter and effective cooling throughout summer with minimum disruption. Once commissioned, the system immediately transformed the space into a comfortable, all season working environment The client is now enjoying their space with lower running costs compared to their previous solutions, and the convenience of modern remote-controlled climate control. turning this less than comfortable space into a practical and enjoyable office that can be used productively every day of the year. .
